Obituary

Robert Francis Watkins (also known as bobbalynx) passed away peacefully December 29, 2024 at the Southampton Care Centre at the age of 82. Robert will be missed dearly by his Beloved son John Watkins, daughter-in-law Chelsea McAdams and very proud grandfather of Amelia-Rose and upcoming granddaughter Daisy (in memory of Bob’s favourite flower).

Former paralegal, Cook and photo reader, which he able to read up to 50,000 words a minute, he demonstrated how to be the greatest father in the world, with things such as, telling amazing bedtime stories that always came with endless candy. He enjoyed many late night bike rides with the family fur baby Rosie. Aside from all the adventures, he enjoyed telling many jokes and also sailing a trimaran sailboat named “Teddy bar” out of Brontë Harbour on Lake Ontario with his former mentor Ted.

Bob had a huge passion for gardening and art, painting and drawing every chance he got.

Bob always took up the opportunity to see the sunset or catch a tan on the sunny days.

Bob would always say when times got tuff “don’t get your snot in a knot!”
