Obituary

Georgina Medina Bradley, born April 23, 1945, in Mexico City, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. Known for her warmth, humour, and boundless kindness, Georgina lived a life filled with love, generosity, and joy.

She is lovingly remembered by her children Jeannette, Brent, and Gail Bradley; grandchildren Savitri, Mackenzie, and Charlotte; her partner Peter Welford; siblings Gloria, Areli, and Miguel; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Sara and Maria de la Luz.  She is also fondly remembered by John Bradley, her former husband.

Her greatest joy was raising her children and being an active, loving presence in the lives of her granddaughters. Georgina also made a lasting impact as an early childhood educator, nurturing and inspiring countless children throughout her career.

In her later years, she embraced life with curiosity and joy—joining a bowling league, taking up golf, and cherishing time spent with loved ones. Her laughter, radiant smile, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Donations in Georgina’s memory can be made to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
