Owl, Ernest “Amigo” passed away peacefully at his home with family by his side on Friday February 7, 2020. Ernest Owl of Saugeen First Nation and formerly of Sagamok First Nation in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Bernadette Owl (nee Mitchell). Loving father to Merissa, Martha, and Mariann. Proud grandfather of Justin, Summer, Larissa, Sineese, Emma, Bronson, and Jaxon. Survived by his brothers Mervin, Brian, Edmond, Noell, and Roger, and by many nieces and nephews. Ernest will be fondly remembered by Bernadette’s family, Fred (Gina), Dorothy (Sam), Gordy (Andrea) and their families. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred & Christine, by his sister’s Marilyn (Bernard), and Joanne, by his brother’s Martin and Timothy, and by his niece Christy.
