Obituary

It is with a great deal of sadness that we are formally announcing the passing of Joan Georgina Tschirhart (Port Elgin, Ontario).  Joan passed away peacefully at the Southampton Hospital on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, at the age of 71.  Loving mother to Ryan (wife Chrissy) Tschirhart and Kristin (husband Scott) Tschirhart.  Dear sister to Cindy Kingshott, Belinda Cummings, and June Cummings.  Cherished aunt to Shannon, Stacey, Chad, Jason, Harrison, Landon, and the late Amber Rose.  Dear daughter of Floyd and the late Elinor “Lolly” Bernice Cummings.

Loving grandmother of Saylor, Henley, Maikland, Grayson and Stella. Great aunt of Connor, Soren, Kirkland, Jada, Ethan, Kyla, Devin, and Logan.

Fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families in both Canada and the U.S.A.
As was Joan’s wish, cremation has taken place and a small family ceremony has occurred.
