Obituary

Bursa, George Walter passed away at the University Hospital, London, on August 28, 2024 in his 72nd year.

Beloved husband of Brenda Bursa (nee Nealon). Proud father of Brett Bursa and his wife, Lea-Anne Cunningham and Jason Bursa. Loving grandpa to Alex and Gavin Bursa. Dear brother to Sue Anderson (John) and Eric (Brenda) Bursa. Treasured long time friend to Dave and Gail Preston and Bill McFarlane. Sadly, missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Phyllis Bursa.

Fondly remembered by his many friends of the community of slo-pitch baseball and his hockey teammates. For many years, George installed and repaired and helped people with satellite dish installations. George will be remembered as being a very avid Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan as well as cheering for the Blue Jays.

A come and go gathering to remember the life of George Bursa will be held on September 14, 2024 from 1PM to 5 PM at the Underwood Community Centre.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the cardiac surgical intensive care (CSICU) unit of London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital.
