Obituary

It is with deep sadness for us all that our dear Pat passed away suddenly at his beloved cottage on Lake Huron May 10, 2022.

Pat was the much loved husband to Corry for 45 years. Predeceased by parents Margaret and Byron, the treasured brother to Susan (Arthur) and Mary Catherine (Robert) and special uncle to Nathan Stamenov.

He will be missed by Leny Glasbergen (mother in law), sister-in-law Margaret Lee (Joe), nephews Kyle, Elliott and their families.

Pat blessed us with his wit and wry sense of humour and his family and circle of friends will sorely miss his skilled delivery of a joke or mastery of a dry witticism.

Pat was intellectually curious and loved to share what he learned in many a quiet conversation with family and friends.

He enjoyed his birdwatching almost to a fault and celebrated the nature around him – always with a treat in hand or a quiet, loving eye.

Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of Pat’s life will follow at a later date this summer.
